I'm used to hearing the electronic stuff from you and I think it's really interesting to get a look at how people approach music using different sound palettes. Is the process for writing something like this very different from your electronic stuff?

A typical 3 minute long electronic song will take me between four and five hours before I'm remotely happy with it. And this is chiptune, which while it's weird and off the beaten track, isn't the most intensive thing to make.

This song, I came up with the chord progression for when I'm singing and then roughly what I wanted to do between verses and for the last minute of the song. Then I wrote lyrics based off a night from high school that I might expand on. All in all it was a half hour process. This recording was my third time playing through it. Wanted to record it before it got too late out and neighbors start going to sleep.
