Yes, he eventually would have to chose someone, but the same obstructionist process that is happening now could happen if the Republicans are not generally happy with the candidate. *edit : Sorry I think I posted twice then had deletion problems. I am new to this.

Hopefully I will be able to move away from reddit also. I do like the better subreddits like /r/askhistorians and /r/askscience. Those are the topics I really like.
I really hope that this community can still bring me the news and good discussion that reddit has brought me for years, without the terrible comments that have been more and more popular recently.
