I checked out his website and I've come to two conclusions:

1. The guy travels a lot

2. The guy eats well

It's good to be Hasan.

Hey Hamburger, I do eat pretty well...well, sometimes. I just got back from Goa yesterday (work trip, unfortunately not vacation) and as soon as I landed I was soooo craving something that didn't come from a hotel or an airport or an airplane! I'm thinking that I need a vacation from my traveling around...considering Mauritius. Anyone got any suggestions on a place to sit around and do nothing?

You can never go wrong with Amsterdam.

But if I were to go anywhere right now, it would be Greece. I think it would be a fascinating place to be. Not sure how relaxing it would be...?

One of my favorite towns i've ever been to is Cuzco in Peru. A great place to relax and enjoying fantastic surroundings/history. The people are wonderful and the food is great. You can take a short train ride to Machu Picchu and see the "lost city". We chose to take the 4 day hike to the ruins... but that's not quite "relaxing".

If you do end up going to Mauritius, let me know what you thought of it.

We are trying to figure out where to go in February? Any ideas on a "relaxing" trip that would work in February?

Safe travels!

I was just in Playa Del Carmen Mexico and it was nice, inexpensive and if you avoid "upscale" and go more "street food", you can eat quite well. Relaxing amenities like "massage" or "spa" are affordable as are beach condos. Cozumel is only a short boat ride away and the snorkeling and diving are great.
