What I have not been able to figure out is why they are considered a hipster clothing store. They basically make the most run of the mill, basic clothing in simple solid colors. They are literally The Gap. I know because I own some of them. Looking at their models, I realize I don't even know what 'hipster' is supposed to mean. Yeah, they have a certain look, but they look far more normal and down to earth than a lot of the traditional runway models and fashion photoshoots. Anyway, they screwed up and should have put this girl in. The whole point is publicity and press, -I think they forgot that. These online votes have a history of getting hacked and if you run one you should have a plan in place to capitalize on the unexpected instead of wasting time, money, and other resources on giving yourself bad press.
Those people are wearing pants of a color slightly different than mine. I hate them.
I had a gift card for AA for a long time and couldn't really find a use for it. Outside of a hoodie or a thermal underwear shirt, there's not much there for me. I'm not very hip, but it's pretty vanilla stuff. It would be one thing if their clothes were better fitted, or more comfortable, but they are plain, and often a bit stiff. IMO it's more like Old Navy, which might be splitting hairs. I think AA get's most of its mileage out of image. This was a pretty big misstep.
