I think it's a mixed bag. Tea Partiers will love this, and apparently Romney has decided that their enthusiasm is very important. However for someone like myself, that voted for Obama, but is less enthusiastic this time around, it is a motivation to vote for him again. I think Romney's biggest risk is that Dems will try to hold Romney accountable for everything that Ryan says. Obama can now run against Romney and Ryan. IMHO if Obama now announced that Hillary was his VP, he would crush Romney.

-I agree. It would make for some great political theory too. I wonder what her future holds? You think she will ever be potus?
Interesting. What do you think of the choice, from the perspective of whether it was his best option? The game is officially "on".
It means he thinks he is more likely to lose his base than get moderate votes. Does not look good for him.
Do you think that perhaps, the GOP knows that there is no hope and therefore wants to put forth a young, rising star in hopes that he can win in 2016? Future of the party, Paul Ryan.
A good chance. I doubt the choice of Ryan was Mitts alone I am pretty sure they went with GOP tradition and let Rush Limbaugh choose.
That is hilarious, unfortunately there is probably some truth there.
Who would have been the ideal "grab the moderates" running mate? I can't really think of any. Christie?
