LE claimed to have only 51 hours to live and planned to overdose in accordance with Oregon’s assisted suicide law. To me it was obvious the guy was bullshitting and I had hundreds of downvotes. It was never conclusively proven but the generally accepted theory is that is that it was Gawker writer Adrian Chen trolling.
