What is it about Saturn that gives it these rings? I realise that they say Jupiter may also have a faint ring as 'Whenever a planet has a distant satellite, it will probably have a distant ring as well' but as we are only seeing Saturn's larger external now, maybe this is more common than we thought? While our moon may not be 'distant', I'd imagine it's plausible that we have a ring of our own?
