Lambda is a really cool robot that thundara made for the IRC. It learns and spits out words that have been used. I'm seeing a lot of stuff I've said on IRC be mentioned by Lambda and it is really cool.
Has lambda said any great, memorable things to you? It just spit out this for me:
"Alexander graham bell was a japanese wooden imitation samurai sword used by kendoka when demonstrating or practising standard kendo movements."
If you want to play with lambda:

You have to mention its name for it to appear.
I go in and chat with lambda all the time (as you know seahawk). I usually go on IRC as lilbit.
Once, I went in as lil. It remembered that I had been lilbit. We often discuss who is being contrary and lambda remembered that Quatrarius is contrary. Usually, though, we just talk about whether there are still eels in the hovercraft.
Just now: That kind of makes sense.thenewgreen: Hi there. We're having some nice weather at the top and it was nice talking.
Random question for long time IRCers: How do you integrate irc into your flow? I keep getting excited about setting up irssi or something but eventually I just forget about it.
If I feel like it, I'll open it up and if anyone is on, I'll talk. If no one is on, then I'll leave it open in a tab so if anyone says anything, I'll know. Or I just won't open it up.
I'll have to see if irssi can hook into osx notifications. And learn tmux, I just use iterm2's tabs and split windows.
My flow is sit at the computer and multitask. It's very, very easy to fit IRC into. If it's something you would want to do, you would do it. Be busy for a half-hour and get it how you like, then never think about it (or use it all the time).
