I know. Here's my theory, though: no matter how late I stay up, I generally get up by about 10:30am (or, of course, earlier if I have work or class). So the later I stay up -- this is crucial, bear with me -- the more hours in the day there are.

So I'm on hubski at 2:20am, because if you squint six hours of sleep is about the same as eight hours ... in the long run I imagine I'll lose my hair faster or something. In the short run, that's 200 pages or 25 Economist articles.

I tried to explain this to my parents in high school.

I just had this conversation with my dad last night. He told me that my sleep habits were unhealthy. Based on data that is out there, he's right. However, between the hours of 10 PM and 2 AM I get a lot done. I have songs, podcasts, and a large digital footprint all from those hours. However, I'm up by 8am every day. This means that on average I clock about 5-6 hours of sleep a night.

I still have a full head of hair though. -immediately knocks on wood
