Thank you, I enjoyed the read. Growing up in Southeast Michigan both Dominoes and Little Caesars were everywhere. You couldn't grow up there and not know who Tom Monahan or Mike Ilitch were.

I went to the same Catholic school that Tom Monahan went to. Every Friday was Domino's Pizza day. He would send over a bunch of pizzas to the school for free and we students would buy slices at a dollar a pop. All the proceeds went to our school. My mom used to work for Tom Monahan's Catholic newspaper -you can imagine the level of journalism that produced.

When you have a university dedicated to producing good people and not degrees what you end up with are people that are not terribly well educated but are really good at reciting verse.

I'm excited about Illich's proposal for Detroit. I like what he did with the Red Wings and hope the success for the Tigers continues. Whether or not you are sports fan you cannot argue that having a viable franchise downtown is a bad thing.

Give me Illich over Monohan every day... But I prefer Dominoes pizza.
