This Oppression of Men Trope is a bit silly to my way of thinking although I do think that the Oppressors are morally harmed by their participation. To push it into the realm of caricature it is bit like Slave holders complaining about how much of a hassle it is to own slaves. I am sure they are not lying owning slaves would be a chore but the hardships of the slaveholders does not peak my sympathy. To reel it in a bit the Bosses, Landlords, and Cops all have headaches and hard rows to hoe but not as hard as they make it for others. I think the human brain has a need for symmetry out language allows words like misandry and reverse-racism but this things don't mean anything. Black folk, the poor and women disliking the folks that are screwing them over puts their souls in peril but is in no way in parity with the hatred from above that seeks rob them of dignity and humanity. tldr: Fuck Whitey
It is embedded in the word you used. It blazes with whines, moans with privileged complaints. It weakens any point you are trying to make. What is that point anyway? Men gots it hard? Feminism hurts my boy feelings?
project much? Of course I was harmed by "gender role enforcing" but that harm was not placed upon me by feminists but by the same folks they oppose. But offsetting the debits of being a man that does not like sports and can't be bothered with Machismo is the fact I am automatically listened to in meetings, I get paid more, objectified less (possibly untrue as I am very good looking) and walk at night and go on dates without the thought of Rape even coming up. Buck up kid and join the fight. Victimhood is not something to be sought. Sure we all got grouses but stop being about yourself and help people that got bigger ones. I say this speaking for all men every single one including you. Even dead guys...even mrmers and other misogynists. All men everywhere I am their spokesman. Also never say intersectionality to me again I am a victim Social Science P.H.D. and it is a trigger word.
Imma tell you straight, if someone said that to me in a discussion I'd be ticked off, and your comment above comes with absolutely no context or justification behind it. Why would you think your viewpoint was any more considered? Literally, out of left field, a dismissal with no justification, which is why it didn't work as a dismissal. Totally correct. You did not say that JV was harmed by "gender role enforcing". In fact you said he wasn't. JV is presenting the fact that your statement is incorrect, and he is then stepping forth and saying where he perceived that harm comes from. All you are responsible for is saying: which is yet another totally unjustified statement that assumes a whole lot more about JV than I think he does about you. So why are you asking about his attitude again?I'm not going to bother you with my much more considered viewpoint.
I...didn't say this.
It's great that you went through life without facing or suffering from gender role enforcement

I threw the first ill tone. I should be better than this.
