Caught a Ghost. They have nice horn section. They're a modern day rock band with a great sound.
I've been listening to Los Campesinos! a lot lately. That's about it, for some reason my audio drivers are nowhere to be found and my laptop isn't recognizing the driver when I reinstall it so it's all radio and iPod listening for now.
Yes! LC! is literally my favorite band of all time. I saw them two years ago in Toronto and it was fantastic. You! Me! Dancing! is a riot live and The Sea Is... is far better live.
Thanks for the recommendation. Just got the No Blues album - really enjoying it.
I rediscovered The Unicorns again, I've had Tuff Ghost on repeat for an hour or so
Reminds me a lot of the Eels, especially Novocaine for the Soul. Loving that lo-fi sound, so I've been trying to find as many bands and songs that fit the style as I can.
Had a 1 hour drive and listened to the most recent version of the Hubski collaborative song:

I've been listening to this Belle & Sebastian song a lot lately. Great band, Murdoch is a top-notch songwriter.
Chase & Status - Alive TV On The Radio - Love Dog Woodkid - Run Boy Run The Vaccines - Teenage Icon
The woodkid music video for Iron is one of my favorite music videos. The color (well lack of color so I guess value / contrast) is so well done. Just lovely.Woodkid - Run Boy Run
i've been getting into hip-hop lately, its funny cause when i was about 14-16 i thought the rap industry was ruining music, you know, typical "le wrong generation" circlejerk. but lately i've
been listening to artists like, aesop rock, tyler the creator,Death Grips, Kanye West (he's still an asshole but he makes some damn fine music), esoteric and danny brown. examples: Tyler, The Creator - Jamba Esoteric - Mecha Mecha
oh yeah, i forgot to mention dälek, i really enjoy his stuff too, recommend "from filthy tounge of gods and griots". its my favourite album of his, its got a lovely dark/gritty industrial feel.
