Two major watch fairs are taking place in Hong Kong this month. The Hong Kong Watch and Clock Fair this week, now in its 32nd edition, bills itself as “the world’s biggest timepiece event,” a huge trade show at which more than 700 exhibitors are presenting watches at every price point. It will be followed by Watches and Wonders, which bills itself as Asia’s first haute horlogerie exhibition, a high-end invitation-only affair running Sept. 25 to 28.
