This experiment came up in conversation today with regards to taking the suburbs and redensifying the city proper, and the consequences of what would happen if we abolished our suburbs. Would civil society be strengthened if the polis was reinforced, or would a breaking point be reached before that happened?

And who would adopt gang members from bad areas onto their streets?
