A reviewer in the New York Times said recently that he failed to make it, setting off a war of words with Tesla founder Elon Musk, who said the Times review was a "fake."

CNN got a hold of the same model as the New York Times and attempted to drive a very similar route, but they received very different results from what Broder was reporting. I think this confirms Elon Musk and Tesla's story and denies credibility to the New York Times article.
