I'm just curious because in my country, the Philippines, people always complain about political dynasties. The government can't do anything about it because even though our Constitution says that it's prohibited, it still needs to be defined by law, which the Congress won't do.
Political dynasties in our country are always seen as corrupt and ineffective. It also leads to families getting so much power that they have private armies and would lead to fighting between clans.
I want to know how political dynasties in the US doesn't get too much power and how Americans see them, in general.
