I've been holding out. :x Below are my no-yeast baking flings. BUT FIRST, EXCITING NEWS.
Ran into the right store at the right time and snagged two jars of active dry-yeast. So, looking forward to joining the meat-bread club.
Also, after 3 days of clean/soak/hot wash-ing a glass jar of Tahini, I'm ready to gun for a sourdough starter.
Now for what you've all been waiting for: my guide
Banana bread mini-loaves. Not enough banana (2) or sugar (none), was experimenting with how sweet bananas make the bread... They sucked, but the batter was fun to eat. Anyways, use sugar! Will revisit this in the next couple pics.
B.F. Banana Bread Loaf using all the bananas (7), an extra egg (3 total) and specially bought brown sugar.
The perfect slice. That loaf was the best I've made in a while. The extra egg and bananas kept it moist enough I thought I under-cooked it at first.
Bonus: Pizza-esque loaf (inspired by #meatbread)
Good stuff to come once I've got some dough.
