Higgs boson hysteria hides work of forgotten scientists

Higgs hasn't ever really wanted this much attention:
He has long been uncomfortable even having his name attached to the particle, which is the key missing cornerstone of the Standard Model of physics.
Story here. What is clear, though, is his name will forever be tied to the theory and I don't have a problem with that. Whether Philip Anderson had the preliminary insight, Higgs and his team put the puzzle pieces together.
