We're going to pay uneducated drug addicts to have 11 million illegitimate babies and the teacher's union and the social workers will turn them into the workforce of America's future.
How's that one working out? It simply is NOT.
Mr. Trump is diving/separating out these losers who propose such crazy ideas. They must accept defeat and come on board the Trump train to victory ville! There is no place here for spoiled conservatives and clueless liberals. In fact perhaps Mr. Trump could build a wall on our northern border and toss Cruz over it.
Unlike President Obama, whose hubris and professorial mien led him to insist that he knew more about everything than the experts he hired to assist him, Trump knows that an effective CEO sets direction, identifies talent, and lets gifted, experienced people do their jobs.
Two registered lobbyists for the state of Israel, will NOT undermine the president on behalf of a foreign government.
As for the steadfast refusal of the Republican Party to grasp the bankruptcy of their economic and tax shibboleths--the first thing that comes to mind are those long-ago words of wisdom from Upton Sinclair:
"“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.”
The Republican Party has become--since the 1970's--a wholly owned and operated subsidiary of the billionaire class that benefits--handsomely--from those policies. Of course Just substitute "food stamps" for "salary" in my previous sentence and you have a democrat.
It would seem that it is the voters choosing Trump, that are taking over the party. How many times do they think voters will accept campaign rhetoric and then allow elected folks to not follow through on their promises.
The GOP is subservient to Obama - in direct opposition to what the voters sent them to DC for. Many are fed up. So too for many independents and democrats.
Trump is but the means to the end. The traditional GOP leaders had their chance and blew it. Making a stand against one SCOTUS nominee is far too little, far too late.
This is the Third Act in the downfall of the GOP. It began with the Moral Majority...followed by the Tea Party and now the Trumpeters.
Anytime there is a lack of leadership...in any organization, church, business, social, whatever...when leadership is absent...fringe elements surface and assume the mantel of "leadership" to the surprise of the majority of members.
The GOP has had 7+ years to plan for this election as a party. To find and vet a candidate. To provide the candidate with a workable and saleable platform. To roll that candidate out early to the public for approval and familiarity. And who and what did they give America?
Instead the GOP, which can not even govern itself and seeks to govern the US, continues to self destruct. It's not just the GOP presidential run that shows the tremendous rot inside the party. One need only look at the GOP in Congress and the nonsense they gave us these past years...with Crude Cruz at the center of the most recent side shows. When America says they are mad as hell and fed up with Washington...it is Congress and the GOP to whom they are fed up with...and yet...the party is oblivious....so should Trump or any other fringe candidate be a surprise?
The ending of same old, same old, two headed party founded on foreign established aristocrats. In stead a dawning of a new day toward National Capitalism.
