Where old street view photos transition from one to the next with a blurred pull, the new DeepStereo uses information in the images to create seamless transitions between static images. This results in a feeling of actually moving through the physical space.
I'm curious to see how this blends with three dimensional mappings of sapce and Google Cardboard to make interactive worlds.
I'm also curious to know how long it will be before we have accurately created a three dimensional map of the world.
Any thoughts?
