Just hit record and make something. Don't think. Here is my result
1. Hit record and then started playing rhythm guitar
2. Hit record and started recording background vox
3. Hit record and started recording second harmony background vox
4. Hit record and recorded clean electric guitar
5. Hit record and recorded distorted electric
6. Bass
7. Recorded vocals that sing lyrics that I made up on the fly (don't judge)
Nothing was pre-planned, all just on the fly. The result is a fun experience and music challenge. Never is there more than one pass at each track. I did allow myself to fade in and out a track and raise/lower levels and add reverb/eq here and there.
Anyone want to take a stab at recording their own such track? The cool thing is that there's nothing to feel self-conscious about... it literally SHOULD sound bad. It's fun.
Shoutout to the songwriters: OftenBen, T-Dog, ghostoffuffle, rezzeJ, ButterflyEffect, jonaswildman, mrjasonetaylor, theholywombat, galen, coffeesp00ns and anyone else I'm forgetting or who is up for sharing something they come up with on the fly.
It's an interesting way to make something.
