This is basically how I do everything now. I keep about 3 active projects going at a time, and visit each one everyday or so. Some days, I'll wake up with inspiration for one project, and spend the next few days on it.

I do think that we aren't privy to the bulk of our processing, and that there is efficiency that can be gained by recognizing this. It's also why I truly do believe that an author that is working on a book might be doing no writing at all. Sometimes work just means putting yourself in a particular environment. -It's like fertilization.
