The link is to a short and bittersweet story of a woman with cancer losing a friend in hospice care. It's also a reminder to us to think through what we want to have in place before we die.
I've had cancer for the past few years, and I got ready for dying. Amongst other things, I set up google inactive account manager to send custom emails to the people closest to me. It felt really good to have this in place, and it still does even though it turns out I'm going to live for quite a while.
What kind of thoughts do you have on your own death? Have you done any planning for what happens afterwards? to make it easier on your friends and family? to make sure your writings and the other things important to you get to the right person? any instructions for people after you die? things you want others to know?
As you are now so once was I.
As I am now, so you must be.
Prepare yourself to follow me.
