Meh.
This article reads like a self-satisfied takedown of statements the author didn't like and then was glad to create arguments against. I find it almost smarmy. I wonder how I would find Paxman's original comments.
Oh, and the author contradicts himself. He says the best poetry is not accessible (a statement I do not agree with), but that a book of poetry is accessible (because of its length).
Maybe I shall do a takedown of the takedown for the Kenning blog.
