About 15 years ago, I was living in Cambridge MA. One very hot day after work, I stopped into a local record shop on Mass avenue, and on impulse, picked up a record by Furry Lewis titled: "Done Changed My Mind". -I had never heard of Furry.

I went home, put Furry on, and sat in our hot apartment listening to the album. That day I didn't mind that we didn't have air-conditioning.

Furry made my favorite kind of blues. It's nothing but blues.
