I don't support these conclusions, and I don't doubt them either.
We would really benefit from an approach to medicine where doctors and patients worked closely together to solve problems. It would also be beneficial if some sort of agency tested traditional or herbal approaches, and published their results in a database that was searchable. Of course, both of these things probably won't happen anytime soon.
We use one particular Chinese medicine to head off the flu. It seems to work more often than not.
