You apparently didn't understand my point, so I'll spell it out in case anyone else missed it.

The mute feature has the potential to be abused, and you are abusing it. Whether you're entitled or not, the argument is that the mute functionality needs to change, and you've given a concrete example as to why it needs to change.

I do not believe the admins ever meant the feature to be used to bully people.

I wonder if fixing the 'mute' issue would also stop people making posts about it constantly.
