The characters were true to their original selves, which is great because that's really what drives the show. It was just the format that was different, you know each character having "their episode," resulting in less ensamble moments. However, I've now started watching it again and it's less jarring. This is not to say that it was overly jarring the first time, it's just less odd now. Tobias lisense plate was one of the funniest recurring gags ever though. Do you know when/if they will have more?
