I think mk should seriously consider this at some point, if only because before the reddit explosion, hubski was steadily gaining members based on word of mouth. Word of mouth essentially = invites. The worst invite-only website I'm a part of is worlds better than the best public ones. I will say that I don't think mk will ever consider it, because it seems to go against one of the semi-fundamental things he's consistently touted about hubski, which is the open sense of community. But there may come a day.
