I support a number of independent journalists and journalism organizations ... but I don't read much of anything they write anymore. I just can't.

RusticGorillaPress is doing an excellent job bringing to light the dark inner workings of government policy-making, and publishes to the KeepTrack subreddit.

Jud Legum is doing brilliant work on multiple fronts with his Popular.Info newsletter, holding corporate dark money up to the painful light of day.

Laurie Penny still is doing great commentary and thought pieces on women's issues, and now more on LGBTQ and Autism issues (recent diagnosis for her). And her one-woman mission to turn Substack into a quality URL again, and not just a mysoginistic crapfest that is has become.

The Independent. The Guardian. The Economist. ProPublica. ACLU. Radio Lab, and WGBH in Boston. And several podcasts from Gimlet Media.

Plus several small independent artists on Patreon.

I send out a couple hundred bucks a month across all these organizations and people ... but I just can't read anything they produce anymore.

I am just SO. TIRED. OF. IT. ALL.

But they need funding to do the work they do, and we will need their work when we erect the gallows and start the revolution.

Until then, take my money. I'll just delete the emails (mostly).
