The simple fact is that the most densely populated countries in the world do not have any COVID plan in place, and are not progressing quickly with vaccination.

Therefore, the virus will mutate. Many, many, many times. Some of those mutations will become more virulent or more deadly.

And there is exactly fuckall you can do about it.

For now, being vaccinated makes COVID into just a bad head cold. But there WILL be a strain that craftily avoids the defenses we have in place from the current vaccination, and gives you full-blown 'ventilator COVID' despite being vaccinated.

There will be lockdowns. And more masks. And another mRNA-based vaccine that comes out in record time and you can get for free from your friendly local government PPE-clad flunkie in a Costco carport in a parking lot.

It's like recycling; sure, go ahead and separate your dog food cans from the food waste and the actual garbage, and put it all in the correct bins... it makes absolutely ZERO difference on a global scale, simply because YOU are an insignificant source of garbage.

Western privilege is about to come crashing down as we are dragged by the tail by COVID variants born and bred in places like Mumbai, and Rio, and Johannesburg, and SE Asia.

COVID thrives on population density.

And no matter what you do, you are four people away from the next carrier of the Lambda variant in Delhi.

Vaccinate. Mask. Avoid people. That's the prognosis for the next decade.
