Ya know, Ben, even by the Code of Hammurabi you're pretty well irrational about this. Matt Gaetz is under investigation for sex trafficking. If convicted of sex trafficking he should serve the punishment negotiated by federal judges and prosecutors. That's... I mean, that's the social contract, buddy. If Bernie Sanders was under investigation for sex trafficking, should he swing from a noose? Why or why not? I know how comfy it is to be mad. But it also makes you lonely. 'cuz there are only so many people willing to humor your screams of "death to the infidel" whenever you're even vaguely triggered. So while I think we're all feeling some schadenfreude over one of the Rights most loathsome moral scolds getting entangled in charges of criminal immorality, it's fuckin' tough to share that emotion with you when you lead with a sweeping stereotype, follow with a logical fallacy and finish with threats of disproportionate violence.
