Behringer's whole thang is to copy iconic products with cheaper parts, manufacturing, and distribution. Everyone they copy has the cost of R&D, testing, innovation, development, etc. Being second to produce something means Behringer has none of the costs, and all of the benefits. Plus, they can come in at a lower price point, luring in the uninitiated to their cheaply made copies of "the real thing".

In other news, my Poly D synth arrived yesterday. Broken. Box is fine, but the synth just produces white noise.
