So you're worried about the government punishing those who express political opinions, but you don't like the anti-fascist movement? Your aversion seems to hinge on the branding of "Antifa" as violent anarchists. Again, most anti-fascists are NOT anarchists, and heavily discourage violence. I would argue that there are fewer things more patriotic than vigilance against fascism. And my god, do we need vigilance at this exact moment. At this exact moment While I don't encourage violence, I do try to understand it. Especially in the case of BLM, nonviolent efforts to draw attention to racism were disparaged as "unpatriotic", and even a simple acknowledgement of the way that black people feel about systemic racism has been refused, because "Let me tell you something. I've had the lowest African American unemployment rates in THE HISTORY of our country!"*. Not even something like "I disagree, but let's have a conversation about it." Only "You're wrong, there is no systemic racism, end of story". With an attitude like that, is it any surprise some people resorted to violence after they were presidentially canceled? *I think he forgot about slavery. Seems to be a theme.Too many government contracts stake to risk it in most cases.
