A black Facebook friend called out all his white friends for none of us "posting the video of the kid who got shot yesterday." I assumed he was talking about Arbery. Like a fucking idiot I tried to tell him in so many words that I was different. Then I had an oh shit moment. He was talking about this https://www.thedailybeast.com/sean-reed-killed-in-indianapolis-police-shooting-that-may-have-been-broadcast-on-facebook?ref=home I feel like shit now and don't know how to address it. Like I can't even keep up with the number of black men the police kill in this country. Since I live in Georgia and Arbery is getting so much attention it might seem like a good excuse. But I don't think I should have to tell someone I know that I didn't notice the black guy that got killed because I was distracted by the other black guy who got killed a while back. He said it's "pussy shit" that we don't want to upset racist aunt Karen. I don't know if I care much at all about Facebook. I'll probably post the Daily Beast article and still feel bad that I tried to say I was different from the other people who didn't post about the story
