Thanks for the shout-out, tng. I haven't seen this particular one before. However, this one (as it is now) is completely unsuitable for almost all wheelchair users (our device's target user).

There are a few other similar devices, which also require the use of crutches (which the Rex device does not); crutches are not a good thing, long-term. Crutches can easily lead to shoulder or rotator-cuff injuries, and if you are a wheelchair user, you really don't want to risk that type of injury - because then, you become bed-ridden, losing even your wheelchair freedom. This can be life-threatening to some.

In somewhat related news, I've been made redundant (i.e., laid off) from the best job I've ever had. Kinda wallowing in the self-pity for the moment, before I start job-searching in earnest.
