I actually counted the seconds while scrolling: ~ 13 seconds from Earth to Mars
~ 170 seconds from Mars to Jupiter
~ 210 seconds from Jupiter to Saturn i wonder what's the speed of the scrolling? If the distance from the Earth to the Sun is 8.3 light-minutes, then, if we were travelling at the speed of light from the beginning of the page, we should get to the Earth in 8.3 minutes. But we don't: we get there faster. That means our little scrolling spacecraft actually has FTL capabilities! Awesome! edit: Of course we're going FTL: earth to mars in 13 seconds? However, from the Sun to the Earth is about a minute, so it seems we're going at 1/8 of the speed of light. That's 37,500 km/s, right?
