“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement early Tuesday deported a former Nazi SS labor camp guard to Germany, pursuant to a 2004 deportation order,” Pete Kasperowicz reports for the Washington Examiner. “Jakiw Palij, 95, had lived in Queens, N.Y., for decades, according to White House press secretary Sarah Sanders. She said President Trump prioritized Palij's deportation after ‘extensive negotiations’ with Germany.”

“President Donald Trump praised the actions of federal immigration agents Monday and denounced ‘open-borders extremists’ who he said ‘don’t mind crime,’” Fred Lucas writes in The Daily Signal. “They want to abolish America’s borders. Any politician who puts criminal aliens before American citizens should find a new line of work,” the President said.

“Judge Brett Kavanaugh is one of the most qualified individuals to ever be nominated to the Supreme Court. He should receive bipartisan support and be confirmed with ease,” writes Marisa Maleck, former law clerk to Justice Clarence Thomas, in the Richmond Times-Dispatch. “Unfortunately, Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer is bent on obstructing this well-qualified nominee.”

In The Washington Times, Heritage Foundation founder Ed Feulner breaks down the results of President Trump’s tax cuts. “Some critics carp that it adds up to ‘crumbs,’ but tell that to Americans getting what amounts to a nice raise. That extra income is enough to help pay down a mortgage, cover daycare expenses, or increase college savings.”
