I resonate with some of this.... I was never a tried and true "conservative" in the sense that the author was... but I certainly identify with the sentiments: and While I'm not too worried about losing any friends on this go around (I didn't really hang out with many hate mongered trumpites), the widening rift between the parties is worrisome. but the good news is... even the trolls read Newsweek. The only two comments:I want no part of it. So once again, I am an ideological orphan.
This position will be a lonely one; we may lose some friends.
