...so that's why so many artists drink. kleinbl00, we had a short conversation on the subject at an earlier point.

Whenever I sit in late, I get to experience some of the most vivid and unrestrained dreams: they have clear stories and quite sharp visuals (this makes the picture seem more real because it's more "full", as my imagination is vague on precise details by default), in addition to involving physical sensations at times.

When spent, I also appreciate seemingly simple and unassuming stories far more than I do the next morning. I once composed a plot for a short story on my way back from Novosibirsk, after a full day of walking around the city (4 AM >> 8 PM non-stop). It seemed, in the moment, very exciting and original. When I woke the next morning and looked at the notes, I couldn't find the same excitement again.

I wonder now if all of this has anything to do with the feeling of "high" that I get from going way past my sleeping schedule. Things seem to be much more exciting than they appear on a daily basis while I compose myself not to stumble around like a zombie.
