Object Permanence is a really interesting phenomena to witness in a child. There was a time when I could take something my daughter wanted, distract her and then put it in my pocket and she would just think it was now unavailable. One day this changed, and it was an amazing thing to witness.
I look forward to her knowing what to call "love". I know she feels it and she certainly gives it.
