Yup, exactly that. The layout is off in the same way in chromium (chrome without google) and firefox. Opera works just fine. I have also seen the issue that forwardslash has several times.
In firefox I have adblock plus (disabled on hubxki) and noscript (hubski.com & hubski.us trusted) as add-ons. Chromium has ad-block and ghostery as add-ons. This might have somthing to do with it. Maybe mk would like to know this ;)
