This expands the idea of "bullshit jobs" to "bullshit activities" or, just general bullshittery. I mean, it's all valid, there is bullshit in every nook and cranny of humanity, but it doesn't do much help to say "there's no bullshit jobs, it's all just part of the bugger network of bullshit!" Well, yes there are, bullshit jobs are a subset of bullshittery.

It also lays the blame of bullshit goals firmly on the government's feet, which is obvious bullshit. There are so many jobs that are produced entirely by real makret demands, but do nothing useful whatsoever for society. Such as phone advertisers or people who design, produce, and sell those infomercial products. There's not really a reason why they need to be doing what they're doing, besides that the market demands it and the market is God.
