I have kept a diary but it was never a linear recollection of the days occurrence. It tended to be bits of poetry, song lyrics and sketches of imagery. I would also incorporate drawings and pressings of flowers and leaves from areas I found of particular note. For me having a physical journal to put down my thoughts in a more abstract way is something I've always enjoyed and something that an "online" experience can't provide. That said, I don't think anyone would object to someone using Hubski as a space for "journaling". If someone didn't like it, they could just use the "ignore" function and they would never see it. Or they could "follow" you or a specific tag you set up and be kept informed of your entries. After reading some of your other writing, I would certainly be interested. But for me, journaling will always be an offline experience.
