I picked up a fitness watch yesterday. I want to push myself a little harder, and I think monitoring my heart rate will help me understand where I can push harder while giving me the confidence to know it's within my capability.

Related, there's a 10K here this weekend, and I think I want to try it. Five to six miles is about the top end of my runs, but that seems perfect for doing the 10K rather than the 5K.

I'm not sure how it happened, but I seem to have accidentally become a runner.
