---- In all seriousness, There is SO much more to the history of Jazz than what I wrote, so many important players i missed. I just condensed and used what I could remember offhand while putting it into an analogy I've been thinking about for a while now. If you want to know more, look into Ken Burns' Jazz documentary series, it's pretty good. Gunther Schüller's books on Jazz are probably pretty good (i've never read them personally).
