This is really interesting! I really don't understand why the author of this short article wouldn't actually discuss epilepsy treatments though. Do we have evidence that epileptic seizures are less frequent during times of higher neural synchronization? Because if not, this finding doesn't actually lead to the possibility of new treatments. Tangent: lol can we just appreciate how whoever wrote this thinks we can tell whether there is 'higher' activity based on amplitude of oscillationsThe researchers found significantly higher levels of brainwave activity in participants when they were listening to music.
