I would recommend watching things that align with your personal interests. It should make it easier to follow if you don't have 100% comprehension but already understand the subject. Personally I like The Great War, a week by week account of World War 1 as it happened a hundred years ago. And I've been watching a lot of Retro Report by the New York Times
