I saw Exodus. My buddy and I had a good laugh at the casting choices (along with some other visually inexplicable decisions). John Turturro as Pharoah? Sigourney Weaver as Pharoah's mom? WTF? And the best of all, a small (also white) boy as God. Christian Bale as Moses didn't sit too bad with me, because they were clearly going for the European conjuring of Moses. It worked on that level, I guess.

The only people of color in the movie were the slaves and nameless, faceless peasants working the banks of the Nile (who, also inexplicably, didn't speak English). It was weird, even by Hollywood standards.
