You and ButterflyEffect, just remember that people hire people based on many factors, but I've found two to be the most paramount:

1. They hire "easy." -Meaning that they hire the person that they have to manage the least. Self sufficient, team players. That's what they're looking for.

2. They hire "passion." -Meaning that they want someone that will be positive, enthusiastic and well... passionate about the job. Nobody has ever left an interview saying to a colleague, "well, he/she was great, but they were just a bit too passionate."
